So...
I think I might write a bit.
Yeah.
Like more than one post every three months.
Maybe.
I've been thinking about it quite a bit recently, and I've decided to give it a whirl.
Notice the noncommittal language I'm using?
Because I'm a wee bit afraid of it not working out. Maybe I don't really have time for this. Or maybe I'll be too tempted to let it take over more than it should.
But I've got a time budget. And I've got a direction. And I've got a commitment to make this be about improving my life instead of taking from it.
The biggest reasons I want to write again:
1) Blogging makes things happen for me. When I blog about something, it's more likely to become part of my fabric. And there's a sense of accountability too. You know, like how the whole world just heard you "say" that, so you better live up to it.
2) Blogging the beauty-that-is-my-life makes me see that beauty for what it is. And I need more gratitude in my life.
3) I'd love to record more memories for our family.
What this writing might (or might not) look like (again notice the lack of resolution...):
1) Brief posts
2) Quick thoughts
3) Little memories
(Do you see a theme?)
In case you're interested, my plan to (perhaps) resume blogging was sparked by Laura Booz's book, Blogger Behave. If you're a blogger, you should definitely check it out.
Here goes...
